Russells on Macklind is a neighborhood restaurant that serves seasonal farm to table dinner and weekend brunch. We are well known for our extensive bakery offerings as well as a bar that features seasonal cocktails, local craft beers, and wine. Russells is located in a renovated 100 year old building at the corner of Murdoch and Macklind in the Southampton neighborhood of St. Louis. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional food in a warm and inviting neighborhood atmosphere.

                                  I expected more from reading the reviews. First of all, it took way too long for my server to even greet our table. We ordered a starter, that sadly was not available. Drinks were well made, but sat empty on my table for an extended period of time. The other starter we chose was great, but my meal was subpar- It was missing one of the main ingredients. I was hoping to be wowed, but was disappointed instead.

                                  My wife and I had a date night dinner before going to a concert. Bill was our server, and he was well informed and polite. The food was amazing. Can't speak highly enough of the sea bass special. Amazing.

                                  The food and the service was outstanding. A good experience after dealing with a week of snow after snow. We had eating breakfast there many times but never dinner. We decided to see if dinner was as good as breakfast. It is.

                                  The food was fantastic. The cheese cubes were highly recommended, however they were not our favorite. Some garlic butter all over them would be a winner instead of ketchup dipping sauce. It was quite cold sitting near the upstairs window. Loads of figid air coming through. Wait staff was great. Entrees and desserts were fabulous. Definitely would go back, but in the winter would ask for a table away from the windows.

                                  We dine at Russell’s regularly and no mater the season or time of day always have a great experience. Food is consistently good,cocktails well made, waitstaff professional and friendly. Great ambience. I recommend Russell’s frequently.

                                  Amazing as always! The Caesar salad was outstanding, the cinny roll ginormous and tasty, and the service impeccable. Also had the fireplace going which made it extra cozy.
