   Seated pretty quickly. The hostess gave us a long stem rose since it was Valentine's day. They decorated our table, which was very cute. Our server, Robert, was top notch. He stopped by every so often to make sure we were good and kept us updated on the timing of the meal. The chocolate sin cake is to die for.

   From the moment we walked in we were greeted promptly and seated right away. I was extremely impressed with our waitress Denise from the time she came to our table to the time we departed. All her work from suggestions to taking our order and not making any mistakes being so polite and even having a pleasant conversation made my night. In my next visit I will be requesting the same waitress. Thank you for a very nice evening!!! Thank you again to the entire staff for a pleasant evening and Thank you to the kitchen staff for a great Dinner!

   Food and service were fine. Overall I was disappointed, here's why: I received a gift card for Ruth's Chris in December 2023. I had not dined at any Ruth's Chris since then. Yet, when I presented the gift printout, the Waltham restaurant could not accept it. They couldn't really explain why - I mean, I had a printed card with a serial number on it, so it must have been paid for right? I paid the full bill, left a good tip and left the "gift certificate" on the table. they can have it. Over the years I've dined at Ruth's Chris for personal and business. But, this has left a bad taste, ( ( no pun intended ). I won't be going there again.

   The service we experienced was absolutely terrible. It took over 30 minutes to get bread to the table. They never cleared the appetizer plates. The tray to deliver the entrées was deposited by the runner next to our table and sat there for five minutes before our waitress arrived. They forgot a side order. I reminded them of that, and it still was not delivered. It took 15 minutes to get our check and leave. The food was good, but an absolutely miserable experience overall.

   The food and service at Ruth's Chris are excellent, without any of the pretentiousness of some of the other steakhouses. We love that it's delicious and no hassle.
