We love this neighborhood restaurant - interesting food and the service was lovely. This last time the music was quite high which made it difficult to talk but when asked they turned it down a bit. We love the Murgh Kesar - very tender cubes of chicken. This last time however there were a few bits of cartilage - they were not trimmed well as in the past. Love the smoky eggplant appetizer - highly recommend if you like spicy. We'll be back!

Very nice place to have authentic Indian meal. Food was well prepared and delicious, ambience was very pleasant and staffs were very friendly. Overall very good choice for Indian cuisine

Service was poor, waiter uninterested. Suggestions regarding food where way off. Drinks came half an hour later when we were on the main course after asking for them. Starters were good. Main course was below standard, quality of chicken was poor. When your paying these prices your expecting chicken fillets not some other pieces of chicken. One vegetarian dish was so spicy it was inedible even though it was suggested to us. The waiter was really not doing anything to make the customer happy and we just wanted to leave. There must be better choices out there.

Food & staff was fabulous. Unfortunately when we arrived - we were told that we needed to be gone in 60 minutes. Our waiter took our order 10 minutes in - so that left 50 minutes. If they knew they had too many bookings they should have declined the request instead of rushing paying guests. This is New York - we couldn’t get a different reservation at the last minute, so we had to rush. We had allotted 1-1/2 hour for dinner before our play but only was allowed an hour. It’s freezing outside so we had to find someplace to spend time - this was annoying, inconvenient & not very customer oriented. Although food was delicious-we will never return.

The food was fantastic, service was great and it was a last second reservation right after a show and had no problem getting in. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food! Met the Chef and he shared his journey from India to here. Our kids loved every entree from the samosa sampler to the butter chicken. We will return the next time we are in the city for sure!

Absolutely delicious food! Such a theater district find! We googled nearby restaurants and gave it a shot. It’s now a must visit every time we go to NY. We are never disappointed!
