Overall we enjoyed the dinner. The scallops and beef cheeks were exceptional. My fillet was cooked perfectly and the triple cooked chips were amazing. Also try the blue cheese butter! My wife had the Beef Wellington. Big portions but overall it was underwhelming. The pommes anna was not good. Their wine list is very good. There are many interesting choices and we settled on a lovely French white which was excellent. Overall I would rate my eperience as 8/10, my wife rated it 6.5-7/10. Would we be back? Yes.

Our experience was a bit hit and miss. Booked in for Valentine’s Day. Greated by nice gentleman and took to our table. We ordered a brioche and Mille Feuille which were both delicious, the guiness treacle butter is to die for - tasted very much like a croissant with the fresh hot brioche. Now it’s the mains that were the issue. My partner orders the chicken supreme which came and as she was eating it, I thought it looked like pink juices were secreting from it. Stupidly I didn’t say anything, but my partner noticed it too and also was a bit suspicious but continued eating - it’s fine dining, surely it would be cooked? Fast forward to later that night and now the next day, partner is in agony and bed bound. Really dampened our valentines and plans for the weekend. I would say it’s partly the fault on our part for not raising it with the waiting staff, but it shouldn’t have been partly raw to begin with. Put a huge dampener on what would’ve been a good-ish experience.

Friendly informed service. Excellent food. Beef cheek and scallop starters were superb. Wellington for main and venison were excellent. Venison was small portion but very well done and a side order made up for that. Wines were brilliant - they were not cheap but were very enjoyable. Great dessert choices too.

Pretty disappointing meal starter was awful both me and my friend couldn't eat it, they did take it off the bill though. My fish was barely warm and the tortellini with it was very thick .They said I didn't need a side but it really wasn't enough for a main and dessert was average. Meal took a long time to get to us and the waitress wasn't very friendly. I have eaten there when it was Blank and food was amazing this was overpriced and barely edible.

Saga is definitely our favourite restaurant in Belfast! It is perfect for any special occasion. We celebrate our birthdays, anniversaries, and even our wedding there. Christina, Alex, and Jonny are true experts in food and wine. They always surprise us with their creativity and excellent taste.
