Opening our doors in 1993, Salmon Dave’s has proudly endured as one of Greater Cleveland’s favorite local haunts. With an informal approach to upscale dining, our cozy neighborhood spot has gained a legendary reputation. After a recent head-to-toe renovation, Rocky River’s favorite restaurant is better than ever. The timeless character of the historic building lives on with distressed brick walls, crown moldings, and its signature mahogany bar.     Always a wonderful experience at Salman Daves. Only complaint is would be great if you could add more snack type food on the appetizers to round out the menu. A cheese board or a low carb flat bread could be nice. Also some healthier side options, more vegetables.

    Pan roasted salmon was delicious. The green beans were hit and miss some good some bad risotto did not have a lot of lobster flavor. But when all said and done, I would order the dish again.

    service was excellent, food brought out swiftly and hot. I am gluten free and they were very accommodating and tweaked featured dishes to be gluten free. Lobster bisque is to die for like always. Can’t wait to be back

    Always great food, drinks and especially service at Salmon Dave's. My guest enjoyed the halibut special which was great. I tried the lobster and shrimp cappelinni for the first time, but it will certainly not be the last.

    Waitress was in a hurry to get us in and out. Made reservation denoting our anniversary however they didn’t read what I wrote to open table. Bottle of wine was poured at initial opening and never again by my waitress. Water in the bottle at the table was not cold. The halibut was good however was very dry…had to have been sitting under the lamps for a while. Making reservations on a Tuesday @ 5:30 should not earn a seat next to the kitchen; especially for a special occasion

    We ate at Salmon Dave's for our anniversary, and this was our first time visiting the restaurant. We've lived in the area for about a year but waited to visit this place. Now I wish I went sooner. We felt well taken care of. The staff checked up on us consistently without being obtrusive. They were helpful with me making decisions between menu items as it's my first time here. One particular note is when we went to order the crab cakes as an appetizer and our server noted that the appetizer only comes with one crab cake, which saved us a lot of confusion and time. Instead we ordered the blue crab cocktail from the raw bar menu and it was some of the best crab I've ever had. My husband loved his lobster roll and as we're raised in New England, we can be picky about lobster. My pan roasted salmon was so moist without being undercooked. The lobster risotto was unbelievable. The complementary creme brulee for our anniversary was just the icing on the cake. They clearly care about the patrons and want them to have a good experience and put pride in their food and establishment. This is a gem.
