   The ambiance here is fantastic I absolutely love the vibe. The service was outstanding, with our server, Robert, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. He was attentive, made excellent recommendations, and truly elevated our visit. The drinks were top notch, I had the Maple Sour, a perfect seasonal choice that I highly recommend. While I was a bit surprised to see a service dog eating off the table, it didn't take away from the overall experience. This is definitely a place we'll be returning to!

   The food and cocktails were fabulous, but the ambiance was awful. I had planned for a romantic Valentines Day dinner, even requesting a table for two in front of their fireplace, but the lighting was extremely bright, so it was more like dining in a hospital cafeteria. Apparently, the restaurant underwent renovations in January, and the contractor messed up the recessed lighting to the point that it was not dimmable. Why they hadn't fixed the problem already isn't clear, but it is inexcusable. It was obvious that I was not the first to complain about the situation. It ruined what would otherwise have been a wonderful evening.

   My husband and I just purchased the Adelphi hotel residency. We go to Salt & Char quite often. We love,love, love this restaurant. Service, atmosphere to the waitstaff from the minute you walk into the restaurant. Especially Tyler the chef is a very talented and amazing down to earth human. Once of his creation butternut squash soup is to die for and I am hoping that soup will make it to the menu in the very near future.

   We have been to Salt and Char many times before but sadly I’m very disappointed with the new opening. The ambiance was horrible. The lights were up so high! I don’t even keep my lights at home that bright. Also, the food was only cooked ok. I ordered medium but got rare. It was still literally cold in the middle. Upon returning, after sending back, it was well done and tough. Not great when you spend $100 for a steak. They also sent a side to our table as an apology but my husband has a dairy allergy, which they were obviously made aware of, but sent creamed spinach, so it went to waste. The waiter even said something to the fact that “I guess you can’t eat this” as he was setting it on the table. We won’t be going back for a long while. Much better available in Saratoga for the same price points.

   Amazing dinner! Did the Wednesday filet special which comes with soup or salad and filet with fries and Brussels! Absolutely delicious!

   It was our first time at this restaurant. We had a wonderful dining experience. Since it was New Year’s Eve there was a very festive mood in the lounge.

   Great service. Friendly/attentive waiters with good recs. They always have interesting specials in depending on the night. Food was solid but not amazing, think some of it could use a bit of a punch up with more flavor. Good steaks and side sauces to go with them. Great bread too - the unsung hero of the night.

    My husband and I visited Salt and Char for the first time on Christmas Eve. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional! Classy gorgeous atmosphere. Wine and food outstanding. We will definitely return to this restaurant. Looking to impress, make a reservation at Salt and Char!
