   For a restaurant near the ocean, this was the most overpriced food I ever had and it tasted like it was reheated lobster over hamburger helper. The quality of one of our dishes was horrendous. The oysters were good but the prepared food was ridiculously overpriced and honestly inedible.

   Our server Mike was fantastic. My only complaint, which is ironic due to the name of the restaurant, is that the food needed more salt. Other than that everything was wonderful especially dessert.

   My wife and I had a wonderful experience at "Salt". Our servers, Emma and Casey, were exceptional as well as our food and restaurant atmosphere. I will always recommend "Salt" to my friends and plan to bring my mom there before the holidays.

   Great service…Jamie was our favorite waitress! Food was great but very expensive. Very noisy cause a wedding reception was going on and the noise not well blocked out. Atmosphere was conducive to eating a great meal…tables far enough apart for privacy. I’ll be back!

   Food is great! Service as well. Just a detail we added in the reservation that it was our anniversary. Would have loved a simple “Happy Anniversary “ at least. Wondering why restaurants don’t leverage the Open Table camp people fill for celebrations. It would be such an easy and super nice touch that adds to the experience and, in my opinion, is what gives the final 5th star.

   As a local I have given this restaurant a chance several times. I waited until the ‘off season’ and overall this last visit seals the deal that I will not be returning. It is very expensive ..which I am fine with if it holds up to its pricing. Which it DOES NOT. Food was fairly good but for the price it should be exceptional. The service was horrible. 30 minutes to get our drinks. No checking in to see if we needed anything. Food took forever. I did ask to speak to a manager and kindly just asked if maybe they were understaffed and explained my concerns. I was careful not to blame the server as I have many friends who serve and can relate how difficult it can be. The manger did not explain or apologize, just thanked me for not blaming the server. As a manager of a restaurant with the check totaling over 400 dollars you should have the professionalism to apologize. Instead, she made the server offer us a free dessert which we declined because we really did not want dessert at that point… But the server insisted and then brought the dessert anyway as if that was going to make up for it. It was actually embarrassing. Sorry but I will not be returning with so many quality restaurants to choose from on LBI.

    Overall, we had a nice evening, after first requesting that our seats be moved for our table of 7 away from two enormous tables filled with screaming kids. The food was very, very good and the service was great, but the prices will probably keep us from going back again.
