   I've eaten here a couple times. I am a local and the location is in a tourist district. I found the food pretty good and good menu options. What kills it for me is the service - right from the host through the entire meal. The host was clueless - asked multiple times if we had a reservation and we did. The restaurant had about half of the tables open but a pretty good crowd waiting. Once at the table we waited over 20 minutes for any acknowledgement. We witnessed two servers debating over which tables to take. The server said the bar was backed up so be ready to wait for your drink - and the kitchen was even more backed up. And by the way this is my only table in the area but I'll try to keep tabs on you. You should order your entire meal now, he said. Overall we were there about 2 hours!

   Planned a quick family stop for a reasonable steak at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, this location delivered neither as to the adult menu items we selected. For example, the steak (6oz filet) was sub-par quality and severely under-cooked only about 1/3 was consumed. Kids’ meal steak did hit the mark - decent steak for decent price. Appetizer was served simultaneously with the main course. Drinks were slow to be refilled. And, the order took 26 minutes to arrive, which is obviously boarding on unreasonable. The GM, at my request, did stop at our table and took care of the misses with a credit to the bill, which is good. But, really, I’d rather have just had a good meal instead.

   This was my first visit to Saltgrass. The reservation didn't seem to be needed for 5:45PM time we got but was nice to be seated right away, and we were able to change the table since it wasn't crowded yet. The noise level was excellent upon arrival, but it gradually got louder and louder as people started coming in. The waitress was very nice and quickly took our drinks order which came quickly. Now, the food was good as my potato soup was very good and steak (New York strip) good. It was slightly under cooked for medium, but I decided to eat it. It came with a butter topping but could have used a bit more flavor for my tastes. The broccoli was cooked perfectly, and the potato soup was excellent although for my liking could have been hotter. Overall, a good dining experience which led us to join the rewards club which does costs $25 to join and it is added to your bill.

   Fantastic. Everything exceeded expectations. Steaks were better than the $100 steaks at a nearby prime steakhouse.

    Poorly cooked steak had to be sent back. Served cold and undercooked. Porterhouse for $42. Waitress was great, but kitchen staff definitely subpar. Restaurant air conditioning was set too low. Not a good experience.
