   My husband and I went to Fanny’s after it was recommended to us by friends. We decided to get a bunch of appetizers to split, and have pasta and a veggie. The first course, we started with the meatballs and the stuffed clams. The polenta and the sauce that came with the meatballs blew us away. The meatballs were very tender. The clams were delicious with the nduja and breadcrumbs. Our second course was the caponata crostone and the whipped ricotta crostone with zucchini ribbons. The caponata was delicious, and goes so well with the goat cheese. The whipped ricotta on the bread made me think of a bagel with whipped butter in the best way. Combining it with the zucchini, which was marinated and grilled, was such a great combo. I ordered the vodka sauce pasta, which was surprisingly light, and my husband ordered the short rib ravioli. We split the Brussels sprouts, which had a lovely array of flavors and textures. Our server was incredibly kind and did such a great job. Everyone we encountered was lovely. The ambiance was so interesting. It was as if they took one central space and created three different rooms due to the decor. It’s a wonderful date night spot with either a significant other or friends. I’m looking forward to coming back soon.

   This is my friends and I second time at Fanny’s. The serving staff are attentive and helpful. The food quality is consistent and everything is so fresh.

   Food was average at best… The arancini to start were good, the meatballs not so much, undercooked and the sauce on them tasted like Hunt’s ketchup. The lobster pasta dish my girlfriend has was actually enjoyable, the vodka parm I had was meh, the sauce was not good at all, but the chicken itself was fried well and not dried out.

   This has to be one of the best Italian restaurants in NJ, hands down!!! Wow! From the ambiance to the food and service, it was all perfection! The Wagyu meatballs and the zeppoles are a MUST! I’ll def be dining here every time I’m in NJ!

   Such an amazing experience every time I have dinner here! I took my aunts from out of town here last night. They couldn’t stop raving about the great service, the excellent quality of food- and not to mention how extremely affordable it is. The pasta dishes are out of this world! Talk about FRESH and DELICIOUS!
