We have 3 private dining rooms and a wine cellar available for private functions.Dining Room 1 can accommodate up to 70.The Mezzanine/ Balcony section above can accommodate another 40.The Wine Cellar can host up to another 40. All rooms are connected or adjoined as we have held numerous events booking the entire restaurant. All rooms are Beautiful.There is also an back deck/ patio and courtyard in the rear of the restaurant which is completely private and can be used in addition with the other rooms.

We sat in the basement, bring a coat, it’s cold. We called and asked if we could bring wine, were told no. While the wine list isn’t comprehensive, they didn’t have any of the bottles. It is convenient to symphony hall, though suggest finding somewhere else

Hospitality is above par. Everyone on staff is extremely kind and generous and go out of their way to provide excellent but not overbearing service. The food is beyond excellent and I have eaten a lot of Italian food. Thank you once again for an excellent experience !

Sammy's is authentic Italian. Staff was friendly and attentive. The meal was delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients, drinks were great. Atmosphere is intimate, bar was lively. It had the feel of a true neighborhood gem. We will return. Thanks to everyone!

Good service and excellent food. Only challenge was how long it took to receive main meal. Place was booked and seems many guests were there before a show at The Lyric at 7:30, which is a 5 minute walk from there (as were we). Tables of two around us has made a 6:00 reservation just like we had and main dishes didn’t come out until 7. All of us asked for take home containers and checks along with the food and had to rush out. Unfortunately my daughter had to toss her leftovers because they weren’t allowed into the theater and we did not have time to put them in the car in order to make sure we made it to the show on time. She was sad because her dish was really delicious! So if you are going to a show nearby make your reservation for at least two hours before the show!

Sammy's was delicious! The atmosphere was wonderful and our waitress was extremely attentive and friendly! Only downside was the timing. We had a reservation at 5:45 with tickets to an event at 7:30 which was only 1 block away. Upon being seated, our waitress told us that we should immediately put our order in because they were so busy (as many people had reservations for the same event as its one of the only restaurants nearby). Even with putting our order in within being seated for 10 minutes, we had to rush eating our meal as it arrived around almost 6:50 pm. Restaurant needs to be aware that they will be that busy when there are events on a particular evening and either take less reservations or bring in more staff so that the wait for food doesn't take an hour (we were only a party of two people).

First time and our waiter was very accommodating, efficient and friendly. The fresh baked bread and Julia salad was phenomenal! We get calamari at every restaurant and we will skip it here next time. Lasagna bolognese 😘 The VALUE of this restaurant is outstanding! The prices are phenomenal and portions are big! And no credit card surcharge!! We will be back!

A family favorite, particularly when we are attending the symphony. This time was a quiet New Year’s Day, and we expected to relax and enjoy the evening, no rush. Unfortunately all courses arrived on top of one another. Oh well. The salad-for-the table was great, the charcuterie perfect for four, and individual plates were generous and delicious. We’ll just remember next time to tell them to slow down, that we aren’t rushing for a 7 o’clock show.

Private party facilities
We have 3 private dining rooms and a wine cellar available for private functions.Dining Room 1 can accommodate up to 70.The Mezzanine/ Balcony section above can accommodate another 40.The Wine Cellar can host up to another 40. All rooms are connected or adjoined as we have held numerous events booking the entire restaurant. All rooms are Beautiful.There is also an back deck/ patio and courtyard in the rear of the restaurant which is completely private and can be used in addition with the other rooms.
