   This was the best sushi, my friend and I ever had! And we’ve lived in some big cities in the states.

   The nigiri was a bit disappointing, and the combination of sushi and whiskey is till an odd choice. But the list of Japanese whiskeys is impressive, and the house specialty rolls and entrees were very good.

   We have to have a least one night at Sandfish when we are in Palm Springs. The sushi is amazing and some of the best we have had. Highly recommend this spot.

   Unfortunately our experience tonight was not as great as usual. Not sure if our wait person was overworked, frazzled, or just had too much on her plate but several mistakes were made including a big one with the check and credit cards being mixed up. Food was amazing as always!

   4 of us had dinner outdoors. Fabulous standing heaters kept us warm. Our fabulous waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, kept our spectacular food coming (can't say enough about the tempura soft shell crabs and the zucchini blossom lobster). The sorbets perfectly cleansed the palette. Were we all happy. 100%

   Sandfish is not a Sushi restaurant, it's Asian fusion which makes tasty Rolls. Cooked foods & rolls are satisfactory. It's not the kind of place you'd order Sashimi or Nigiri. It has a limited wine & sake selection. However true to its name it offers an overwhelming choice of liquors. The room has a nice ambience however the prices are on the high side for casual dining.

    Excellent presentation of dishes and well prepared. The food was excellent, including their wonderful dessert. In short, we enjoyed our meals and will be back.
