Classic and contemporary California Wine Country in the Northeast Heights: Welcome to Savoy, a sun-filled, unpretentious but sophisticated, wine-friendly restaurant!

Natural light from a wall of South facing windows reflects off buttery walls, warming the wood and stone of the main dining room. Our open kitchen piques your appetite with its scents & sounds and the energy of our chefs. A comforting atmosphere greets you in the Lounge before you’re drawn into the lush, vine-covered atrium to the West. From there, step onto the shaded patio and relax by the firepits as you take in a view of the Sandia Mountains. We haven't been visiting Savoy as often as we used to since prices are up notably and we felt like the number of special items on offer had dropped. Our visit last night was a delight, with great service (owners circulating on-site, working amongst the staffers) and remarkably good food. We need to simply deal with the fact that prices have increased and return to our frequent visit habit - Savoy does a really great job.

Service was good. Food was okay. Food quality on sea bass was below average. It was overcooked, or a poorer quality, as it was rubbery. The champagne cocktails we ordered had too much bitters in them -- not very good. Pretty noisy -- they were busy. I had requested a booth and was told upon arrival they had seated others at all of them. The decor is tired and needs a refresh.

Very nice xmas eve dinner with family and friends. Good food and service...half duck that was a huge portion and shareable for two and a pasta dish selected by 3. Could have used a bit of holiday cheer as a centerpiece---maybe at least one red flower amd a candle? The table was a bit sterile for the holiday.It is nice to have a 'real' table cloth and a quiet room where we could hear each other in conversation.

our server was amazing. he let us set the pace; kept returning but very subtly until we signaled we were ready super nice guy really made our 3-way December birthdays evening enjoyable!

Tuna appetizer was a not the freshest, a bit of a fishy aftertaste, Chicken entree was over cooked and dry, squash pasta had a heavy onion/vinegar taste. Server was delightful and cocktails were first rate.

Excellent service. Our waiter was wonderful. The food was also delicious. In our party of four everyone was very happy with what they ordered. We haven’t been to Savoy for awhile but definitely we will be back. We went for my husband’s birthday.
