Known for their award winning craft cocktails, scratch made food & hidden gem of a back patio, Savoy Taproom is an approachable, upscale bar and restaurant located on Lark Street in the heart of Albany’s Center Square neighborhood. First established in 1936, the storied and historic Savoy reopened in early 2016. Their American gastropub food menu features a variety of pub fare favorites and exquisitely prepared entrees including a wealth of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Starting April 1st, The kitchen is open Monday through Friday from 5pm to 11pm, and Saturday and Sunday noon to 11pm. The restaurant has two outdoor patios and a private dining room.

We have been here multiple times when we are going to a show at MVP or Palace Theatre. The wings here are so so good! The cocktails are the real star! The cocktails are excellent and the service is awesome. The wait staff is so nice and attentive and the bar is super cool!!! We really love it here. 💕

We got burgers, fries, a beer, and a hot Toddy. Food was amazing, we sat out by the fire pit on a cool autumn night. Would absolutely come back.

We love Savoy Taproom!! We always make a point to stop in for dinner whenever we're in the neighborhood. This is a fantastic gem for gluten free/dietary restriction folks, as there is a dedicated gluten free fryer AND most breaded/fried items are breaded in non-gluten containing batters! This is one of the only places I can get a fried chicken sandwich, fries, fried cheese curds, etc. since I've gone gluten free. Further, the craft cocktails are exquisite, the staff knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind, and the ambience great for evening/weekend dining. I can't think of a more perfect place to celebrate date night, get togethers with close friends, or any special occasions.

Fun casual place to celebrate a special occasion. Service was outstanding! Started with drinks and chicken wings, wings were the best we have had. Street corn pasta and fried chicken sandwiches were delicious. All the food we saw go by looked great can't wait to go back and try something else!
