Excellent cream of broccoli soup with cheesy bread on the side and loved the meatball appetizer. The veal schnitzel was terrible, too much crust.

Pros: Loved the authentic Austrian fare & gracious, attentive service. Cons: Deafening noise levels, compounded by the “community” tables. Would prefer separate tables, rather than sharing a space with strangers.

Most of the food is very good and kind of meal you expect from a restaurant. Not exciting, but still solid even if too expensive for this type of meal. However, for a restaurant purporting to live by German/Austrian traditions, Riesling vine was horrible! The worst Riesling I ever had. Unbelievably sour like a lemon. Do you expect Americans not to know a German Riesling should taste? All sorts of Riesling from Bavaria are characterized by light sweetness and various fruity flavors. Where did you get this ugly one? Charging $17 for a half of glass of this garbage when a bottle of good Riesling costs less is lunacy! Are you so cheap?

We had a 7.15pm reservation but we weren't sat until about 7.30pm. The food was great. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. They only had three people on the floor on a busy night. They played hostess, server, and busboy for everyone. They made it work for being understaffed. They comped our drinks for the wait and the dessert for it being a birthday dinner. All in all, great experience (even with the wait).
