Founded in 1965, Scoma's Seafood Restaurant is located in the heart of San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Family-owned for three generations, our iconic waterfront restaurant is famous for serving the freshest seafood from pier-to-plate. An award-winning bar program includes an extensive wine list, local microbrews, and expertly crafted cocktails. For nearly 60 years, locals, visitors, politicians, athletes, actors, singers, and heads of state have been frequenting Scoma's for its old-school hospitality, delicious seafood, spectacular views, and impeccable cocktails. Located on a working pier, Scoma's has its own fish receiving station, dealing directly with local fishers for 100% sustainable seafood.

    We had such a great time here. Party of six. The staff was awesome. They helped make a little surprise for my daughter who had just graduated. Would recommend, and can’t wait to go back. Thank you!!

    From open table notes, the hostess saved my birthday girl and I a table with a beautiful view. We got salad and two big fish and shellfish dishes. Absolutely fresh and delicious. The waiter brought amazing ice cream with a candle for my lady’s birthday. Wonderful evening!

    While in San Francisco for a very short time, we wanted to experience fresh seafood in a truly authentic and classic place, if we could find it. Scoma made our list early in our research and continually rose to the top. We didn’t need, not want, a place that was so fancy that it was indistinguishable from other locations across the country. This place on the pier, with views of the boats, and architecture and interiors as classic as a true-blue fresh-off-the-boat catch of the day gets. The service was kind, thoughtful and attentive, while also accommodating to our requests. I had their ciopinno and it was delicious, full of the most flavorful seafood I can remember in a long time. The cocktails are really good and their pours are generous, too. I wish I had time for another visit before I have to leave!

    We had two nights in San Fran and had made reservations at Scoma’s for the first night based on positive reviews. The food, service, experience was so good that we made reservations for the second evening too. Two nights in a row still wasn’t enough! If you haven’t been, please go! You won’t be sorry.
