   Since we live very near Seed restaurant, we have eaten there many times. The food last night was the very best we’ve ever had. The choices were varied for this New Year’s Eve menu, and I feel that I made some excellent ones starting with delicious fresh oysters and then a lobster risotto, finishing with a cream caramel. In the past, I have felt the food here was over salted, but that was not the case at all with what I enjoyed last evening.  My husband’s choices were a lobster bisque to start, then a rack of lamb ending with the bread pudding. Our cocktails before dinner and wines that we had with dinner were also excellent. Will, our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing and very efficient as he served us. We had a late seating at 9 PM which I think ensured the noise level was less than we usually find at this restaurant. Our table was near the bar and we were given a table for four and we sat side-by-side facing the bar. This was quite pleasant until two couples came in, sitting just in front of our view and talking loudly. They were still there when we left around 10:30 PM. The restaurant closes at 10 on New Year’s Eve. One other thing is that people for the most part seemed to be dressed up a bit. This is not always something you see in East Cobb  and a most pleasant change for a festive evening.

   We booked an early reservation and had an incredible meal. The tuna & lobster bisque appetizers were outstanding as were the lamb & duck dinners. Fantastic meal and experience.

   We came for a birthday lunch and it was excellent. Highly recommend the chicken schnitzel for the entree and the grit fritters for an appetizer. Service was very good. It can get loud if you go for a weekend night out, but it’s a great local East Cobb spot.

   We sat outside and it was warm and festively decorated for the holidays. The food is always wonderful. The service was a little slow, it took more than 20 minutes to get one cocktail and a glass of wine from the bar. Overall, it’s a great restaurant and perfect for a nice night out. We’ll definitely be back.
