   Hands down, Selva Grill, never ceases to amaze us. The quality of food, service, ambiance and overall experience is "top notch dining" in Sarasota in our opinion. Consistently over the years dining at Selva Grill at the UTC or downtown Sarasota is our number 1 restaurant in the Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch area.

   La Selva is a very nice restaurant. The ambiance is great and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. The drink menu variety is a plus and I highly recommend their martini's. Food comes out very quickly! I highly recommend this location for a nice evening.

   First time eating at the UTC location (the one in downtown is one of our favorite restaurants) and we really enjoyed it. The menu was outstanding as always, food quality and preparation excellent and decor in the restaurant was modern and fun. The waitress we had was just ok, she wasn’t overly engaging and had a few minor mixups with the order. I think this likely could be a result of some fatigue after the holiday period which I’m sure was very busy. Overall a great place to go and great to have this restaurant in the UTC.

   Filet was not done as requested and was not the best. The sides were very good and the lobster bisque was excellent.

   Selva Grill is one of our most favorite restaurants. The drinks are great, the food is delicious and the service is impeccable. It is a little pricey so it is a special occasion restaurant for us.

    Had reservations in the bar and food and service was excellent. Not your typical bar atmosphere, it is classy upscale but not pretentious, quiet but very active.
