Thursdays from 8PM - 11PM Sempre Oggi welcomes David Kastin, who has been a DJ in New York for over 30 years, for a curated set from his personal record collection. I bought my first record in 1975. It was Aerosmith’s debut album. Ever since then I have had a love affair with vinyl. It all started with early 70’s rock, then into the late 70’s I was collecting disco ala Studio 54. Next was punk/post punk new wave and my collection grew significantly. In the late 80’s I discovered an old school NYC dance party DJed by none other than David Mancuso called The Loft and it changed my life. The Loft exposed me to so much music, one could hear almost anything from disco to funk, soul, house and rock and post punk it was so eclectic and inspiring

I just had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at Sempre Oggi! I started with a crisp green salad with a dressing that I can't ID I sure loved it, followed by turkey and dressing cooked the way I want to have it the rest of my life, not to mention cranberry sauce to die for, and inexplicably two desserts, I sent one back and ate a piece of divine cheese cake a l'italien. I'll go back on my diet tomorrow, or at least that's what I told myself, while eating this cheesecake from heaven!

Thanksgiving dinner at sempre oggi was fantastic. I would understand if it was hard to get adequate staffing or be pro forma with the food on a major holiday. This restaurant turned everything up a notch. The food was delicious and on point; just traditional enough but not at all boring. The service was excellent! Responsive, helpful, pleasant, friendly but not at all intrusive. Bravo!

What a great Thanksgiving meal! The papardelle with turkey leg ragu was insanely delicious. I could eat it every day and not get tired of it. The choices of entrees were difficult to choose from, but we all had the porchetta with jimmy nardello peppers and red endive. The sides were served family style. The roasted carrots were fabulous. Dessert, too was served family style. Service was friendly and efficient. Johnny, our waiter, was excellent. The room is attractive, the bar has great choices. This place is a great addition to the UWS and I will be returning often.

Our dinner was delicious and the service was wonderful. The restaurant was very accommodating when the size of our party increased at the last minute. I would highly recommend everything on the menu including the non alcoholic cocktails. I will definitely return for future meals.

Lovely server and friendly staff throughout the restaurant. White wine needed to be more chilled. Excellent Caesar salad, sauce on the spaghetti scampi was excessive.

Our date night before a show at the Beacon was wonderful. It began with a timely checkin with the friendly hostess and only got better as we engaged with our attentive server and the sommelier. A perfect bottle of 1985 Barbaresco, great food and beyond delicious desserts made this a night to remember.

The food was excellent. Everyone at my table ordered pasta dishes, and they were all outstanding. The Fritto Misto and desserts we ordered, were so delicious. Our server and service in general, was great. Beautifully designed space. This type of restaurant is greatly needed on the upper west side, where am my opinion, many of the restaurants are just mediocre.

We love the fresh pasta offerings from Sempre Oggi and last night did not disappoint. I had a delicious dish with duck ragu, our friend had spaghetti with shrimp and loved it. My husband always orders the veal Milanese and raves about it. We started the meal with their delicious fresh faccachia. Servious was excellent

The food and ambiance are both exceptional. The restaurant's energy radiates cozy chic with notes of warmth and winsome furnishings, notably the upholstered chairs that neither bother the lower back nor hinder the hindquarters, ya feel? The food is a master stroke in Italian fare, with distinctive craft cocktails to match. The signature Oggi gin martini pairs Portofino gin with – not vermouth – but a small-batch bay leaf digestif from the Amalfi coast that evokes the holiest of cows from both the religiously reluctant and lactose ill-inclined lol. The food was yum yum in my tum tum and me most likey the flamey beets and noodles with quack quack. The little gem caesar salad was both a gem and the Caesar to my Roman empire okayyyyy?! P.S. Lexi was our server and she nailed not only the recommendations, but also the way she divided the courses for us. Mamá slayed the house down sneaks with her complete mastery of long division. Work!
