   Food was very good. Their pasta tasted fresh. Excellent wine list. Server gave us complimentary dessert wine since we were celebrating my daugher's 21st birthday---nice touch. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.

   Amazing experience every time!! Our food was delicious, the vibe is always great and the service was perfect! The owner, Alex, ended our night with a champagne toast for my mom’s birthday, we love it here

   The service was superior, as was the quality and quantity of every course they served to us. This was our 17th anniversary celebration. It was well worth the drive from the East Bay. Parking was non-existent, however. If driving, anticipate the search or seek a parking lot. There are a couple lots nearby. Moving on, the minestrone soup was a meal unto itself. Rich and hearty, in a substantial serving bowl. The polpette meatballs were also large in size and big in flavor- with cheese and a red sauce tasting like marinara. We loved them. At this point, we had to take home portions of our orders. This was merely to save room for our pasta dishes. The pappardelle with sugo was excellent. My wife loved her pasta, too, the macheroncelli. I enjoyed trying it. We did have dessert- the Meyer lemon sorbet to was excellent and the bread pudding tasty and rich. We polished both of them off despite feeling fully sated beforehand. We had a great meal, with attentive and genuinely friendly servers who accommodated my late arrival as my wife waited for me at the table. Parking! Well, I got my steps for the day. The other clientele were friendly and conversational, as well. We highly recommend this neighborhood gem in Russian Hill.

   Hands down, the best pasta I've had in SF! Not the cheapest but the best quality at a reasonable price. Our favorite was the special pasta - squid ink linguine with dungeness crab. Simply amazing. The pork chop was a solid 9 out of 10 as well. Lastly, I prefer to bring my own wine and the corkage is very reasonable for SF - $30 for the first bottle and $35 for the second and $40 for the 3rd (limit of 3 bottles per table). Highly recommend!

   As always, I have a full belly and heart after enjoying the incredible food and company of the team at Seven Hills. The food is consistent, INCREDIBLE, and creative. The maccheroncelli is a tried and true classic that deserves a spot on every table, but tonight we wound up devouring 3 specials out of the 4 dishes we ordered. Started with a bright and refreshing hamachi crudo and the beet salad with horseradish and dill (different and delicious!!) and then I enjoyed a chicken agnolotti with kale and homemade ricotta and the most comforting gravy-esque sauce. My date ordered the squid ink pasta with Dungeness crab and in true Seven Hills form they were generous with the crab, enough to have some with every bite. As someone who doesn’t love a cream sauce, I tasted this and wow - DIVINE! We shared the chocolate boudini for dessert and a bottle of white wine that carried us through the meal. As wonderful as the food is though, the team at Seven Hills is what really keeps me coming back year after year and recommending them every time someone asks (whether they are local friends or visitors) You guys are so warm and inviting and make everyone feel like family, consistently, which is such a rare find. Thank you, thank you Seven Hills.

    We were visiting from Europe and Italian food is nothing new to us but I really have to say the seafood pasta as well as the ragout pasta were exceptionally good!
