Shadowbrook Winery has become the East Bay’s most decorated winery with over 75 medals. Shadowbrook is a small production family-owned winery located in the foothills of Mt. Diablo. We offer a diverse selection of exceptional red wines, along with some fantastic white wine options. Whether you're looking for a wine tasting experience, a glass or bottle to enjoy, or even a variety of local beers on draft, we’ve got something for everyone. Pair it all with our excellent food menu for the perfect experience.
We offer various seating options all with beautiful views of Mt. Diablo and our vineyards. There truly isn't a bad seat in the house! Most seating is outdoors to enjoy the scenery, with covered patios, shade, and umbrellas for warm days, plus heaters, a fireplace, and fire pits for cooler weather. We also offer indoor seating, though it does not have the same views. All seating is first-come, first-served. Please note we are reservation-only, so plan ahead!

The food, wine, and customer service was excellent. The environment was very relaxing and homey. Shadowbrook is the perfect place for a date night and/or a night out with friends.

Wine is awesome! Reds and whites! Service is hands down amazing! Thank you Rachel for being an amazing server! She was the best! Took great care of our party of 7! We will be back!!!

As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our visit (the first since becoming wine club members). Cinder our waitress was amazing…insightful, helpful with tips on the wine and food, and willing to take time with us despite a fairly full house. One suggestion… maybe find a way to cover the hot food (we had steak frites and the pasta which were delicious) when transiting from the kitchen to the table especially on a cold night as both dishes were lukewarm when they arrived. We were at a table the farthest from the kitchen which may have been an issue as well. Otherwise it was another most enjoyable experience at Shadowbrook.

This is a total gem on the outskirts of Walnut Creek in the Northgate neighborhood. Shadowbrook has clearly spent a lot of money on their winery and it shows. Such a great venue to hang out and taste one of their great wines on a Fall day. Will be back again!

We thought it was a bit pricey but enjoyed our experience. Lovely venue, especially at sunset. Wines were very good. Food skimpy.

It was our 1st time visiting for a friend's birthday. Everyone was very welcoming, the property is beautiful, food and wine was gorgeous. Will be back.
