   Delicious food as always! Looks like they’ve changed their menu up a bit as there were so many new items I’d like to try in the near future. I was really disappointed with the ramen, it seems they’ve downsized, singular piece of chashu pork and not much broth anymore either. Noodles clumped together a lot more than usual, so that was a bit disappointing

   Shinmachi had a fun atmosphere, friendly service & tasty food! We booked pretty last minute but they were happy to accommodate us.

   The broth is perfect, noodles are simple but delicious! Everything is good and so much value. Bring a large table to split and share and suddenly everything gets so much better (or go quiet one on one its definitely a vibe)

   I have always loved this restaurant and found the food to be excellent. I was somewhat disappointed by my recent visit. The food and service were good, but not excellent. The menu range had reduced.

   The food here is consistently good, with a focus on tasty comfort food rather than innovative dishes. The service was a little strained on this busy night. Noise levels were high, impacting on the ambience of this otherwise authentic Japanese dining experience.

   Shinmachi is consistently awesome. As a local we’ve been a number of times. It is always good. Great ambience, waiters and chefs are genuinely grateful you are there, food is delicious and it was all so quick! Loved it and will come again
