   First visit, Went for lunch at 2:00, no one took our order for over 20 minutes. Seemed like confusion as to which server was for us. The place wasn’t exactly packed so I have no idea why the delay. Ordered potato pancakes and Bavarian pretzel for appetizers. Came out quickly, potato pancakes were Luke warm and the inside was dry, pretzel just ok, beer cheese wasn’t great. Had maybe three bites of our appetizers and out comes our main lunch order which is so annoying! The “runner” from the kitchen didn’t say two words, seemed like in a bad mood. Main lunch, fish sandwich and bratwurst combo was just ok. Service just ok. Definitely not worth $100 plus tip for lunch. Won’t be going back.

   The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Everything we ordered was tasty and satisfying. The space around the table was a little tight. It has an adult vibe but I saw no reason why well-behaved children wouldn't be welcome. Excellent place to go for a good meal and great service at reasonable prices.

   Nice room, poor service and the it was not crowded. The food was, well awful. My friends liked their food but ours was just frozen fish cooked in a river of butter.

   Was really looking forward to Shippy's signature sandwich, the Reuben, which I ordered. I was very , only to be told about 10 minutes later, that they were out of corned beef. They offered, and I accepted, to substitute turkey. NOT even a close second 😞

   So wonderful. From reservation to leaving the restaurant. Restaurant week specials were from reg menu both in portion and freshness.
