I made a reservation at Shirasoni for a private 2 person table to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. We were seated at a table that felt like it was falling apart and the area smelled of cheap cleaning products. After we were seated, we were completely ignored. Another couple was seated directly behind us and they were greeted and served drinks and appetizers before we could even be asked if we wanted waterwater… several different waiters walked by us multiple times without making any eye contact, we felt completely invisible. The restaurant only had 4 other tables to serve at this time, so it wasn’t very busy. We waited for about 20 minutes hoping to at least be able to order water within that time, but not a single person acknowledged we were there. We left after 20 minutes.

18% automatic tip is wrong and should not be on a bill. The service does not always justify 18%. That's almost 1/5 of the total and is A LOT

Chef Charlie is the greatest. We ask for him every time. He makes the experience that much better. The food is awesome. We have a great time, every time.

It was such a disappointment. Our chef had no customer service skills and I don’t think he spoke English. The chicken was overdone, the steak was overcooked and nothing had any flavor. We have been going there for all of our special occasions and we have loved it. But tonight was such a disappointment. We watched Charlie and his table looked so much better than ours. If we ever come back we will request Charlie.
