   The ambience and the view in the restaurant were perfect. Service was great. But the food left a lot to be desired very unimpressed definitely not worth the price. We won’t be dining there again.

   Usually when we have visited the food is really good. Last night for a birthday celebration we were disappointed in the food. Maybe it was just an off night. Our son inlaws steak was grisly and the halibut had no taste and the vegetables were hard and not cooked through. The waiter’s were all friendly and we had good service.

   Shorebird is a wonderful spot for a brunch. It hits all the right notes with a great menu for appetizers, entrees and drinks. Service is friendly and efficient from reception to your table . A beautiful space that opens to the Harbor with a view of the Peninsula Village. I have been a couple of times for brunch and everyone was delighted with their orders. Personally I encourage you to try their sushi which is lovely including a fresh wasabi relish.

   Ordered the Garlic Albacore Roll which doesn’t have any cucumber in the description and the roll came out riddled with cucumber. No joke was 90% cucumbers, 10% sushi. It was comped but still for the prices here, they should know better. I’m allergic to cucumber so my wife ended up eating the sushi that had to be picked apart in order to eat it. Our waiter was wonderful but overall this is a Big Price Small Portions place. Don’t come for the sushi.

   Great location and excellent food. It was quite crowded for Sunday brunch and very loud/noisy. Still highly recommend.

   The Chilean sea bass was delicious! Sitting closer to the open front is the way to go as it’s beautiful and quieter.

    Beautiful restaurant! It was my second time here and the drinks and food were delicious both times. The food took over 30 mins to come out for the 2 entrees we ordered but we weren’t in a rush so it was worth the wait.
