   The usual top notch Sunday roast, never fails to satisfy. Throw in fab service from the friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere & it all makes for a fab place to be.

   Enjoyed a beautiful meal here, Med-rare sirloin steak was cooked superbly & the whole dish was full of flavour including my side of slaw, delicious My partners meal of fish linguine was also amazing, very tasteful In full without doubt one of the best meals I’ve ever had, so full of flavour, a good plate full, lovely relaxed feel, Overall outstanding

   We have eaten there multiple times and this time it was busier than normal. So the service was not quite up to the normal standard and it seemed that some of the staff we new to the pub. Drinks were forgotten and the food took longer than normal to arrive. We were not shown to our reserved table as it was not reserved, we were just told to sit anywhere there is a space for four. Not much point in booking a table or a time if they aren’t going to reserve a table. May just as well turn up. But on the brighter side the food was again excellent and the staff are always friendly and a great atmosphere in there it really is a nice place to be. Would i recommend it, absolutely, maybe just my previous visits have been so good this was slightly up up to their usual standards. Plus there was no steak. It was only 7:30pm booking. So again disappointing as that was my choice of meal. The landlady is always very pleasant, so thanks to her again for a good evening!!

   Friendly service and an outstanding Sunday roast!..Great sizes portions, certainly don't go away still hungry lol overall a lovely experience definitely worth returning to !

   This was a really friendly and well run smart pub. The menu was varied and interesting - especially the daily options on the soup and pies, and the food excellent. There were not many other diners in on the evening we went but this did not detract from the welcome feel and ambience.
