Celebrated my 20th birthday here and I’m glad I did. Everything was a straight 10/10 the food, we got Salmon and Wagyu sirloin for our entrees and it was delish! The staff was so accommodating since we don’t eat pork they took back an item and re made it. HIGHLY recommend their peanut butter and chocolate cake and ice cream. Our server was so kind she was amazing, making sure we were always enjoying our meal and making sure things got out to us quick. Relative to other nice places in Pittsburgh this place is definitely in my top 3 and it’s not 2 or 3. Great place for a first date or an anniversary of some sorts! And to conclude the value you get out of every dollar spent here is truly worth every penny because the experience is just amazing! 10/10!

We had the most lovely evening celebrating our weekly date night and an early Valentine’s Day dinner at Siempre Algo. It’s a smaller restaurant and it makes sense that reservations are needed. There’s a bar and tables for couples and groups of four. I really enjoyed the 2010s music playing and it wasn’t loud enough to be distracting or not hear my partner. The lighting was also just right and there were tea light candles around the restaurant creating a warm ambiance for the space. Menus are provided thru a QR code and I appreciate how it minimizes waste and additional labor. We were greeted by Alli, seated, and immediately served filtered water. We were also treated to complimentary champagne. We then ordered the Siempre Algo Old Fashioned and Jack of All Trades for cocktails. Next we ordered focaccia as a snack which was crispy and salted perfectly served with a perfect quenelle of butter. For mains, we ordered the wagyu sirloin and the porchetta. I couldn’t believe they had ibérico and I had to try it for myself. The pork was so tender it melted in your mouth. The steak was delicious and cooked exactly to order. Served with buttery whipped potatoes and broccolini, I know the wagyu sirloin will be what I order the next time I visit. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake and peanut butter ice cream. The cake was rich but not overwhelming and had you going for bite after bite. We’ll definitely be going back and bringing people with us. This place was absolutely worth it.

Seimpra Algo is consistently outstanding! Their ever-changing menu is the most interesting menu I have experienced in Pittsburgh. For example, I had the Guinea Fowl Breast which I have never seen on a menu in the city, and it was delicious. My wife had the porchetta which involved pork tenderloin wrapped in a thin layer of pork sausage. the Wagyu tarter was fantastic. Great wine and the best service in Pittsburgh.

Met a friend visiting from out of town for what I thought would be a night of not finding anything I liked on the menu. I was wrong- we tried the pannell, baguette, salad, lobster/pasta dish, the shrimp and grits, white wine and brownie with banana ice cream and pepitas! To me the food was proportioned and prepared perfectly. The setting is smart, simple and darkish- perfect for any type of dining. Wait person was pleasant and professional. Great restaurant.

Unfortunately, this was our least favorite dining experience in pgh. Food and drinks were terrible- the service matched. I hope that as they develop their menu they establish their go-to items and really perfect them. I do not recommend.

Always a varied menu. Chef does a great job creating dishes from what’s fresh and seasonal along with some always favorites (order the Duo of Pate - we nearly always do!)

Our server was welcoming, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the menu with solid recommendations. Our meals were phenomenal and reasonably priced for what we got! Highly enjoyed the cocktails as well! The ambience and vibe of the restaurant made for an overall great experience and we can’t wait to go back.
