   Very good local restaurant. Always consistently good food but as a local I would like more changes to the menu or seasonal specials.

   Terrible. Stood there waiting inside the door for someone to address us Eventually we were let to our table upstairs, place was echoing and full of terrible noise. Sat at out table and looked at the menu, which was different to the menu on the website. 10 minutes later a lady eventually came over and my wife said we were ready to order, she asked us if we wanted water and walked off. She came back and poured some water in our glasses, sat the bottle down and walked off to take someone else's order who add arrived after us. Sat there for another 5 minutes before another waitress walked past, picked up the bottle of water and headed off to pick up another bottle from a table of finished diners. We got up and left! Walked up the road to The Grand and had a much nicer meal with fantastic service.

   Silica restaurant is highly recommended. Our table of 6 people all devoured our main meals and left absolutely nothing on the plate. The meals were a good size and definitely enough. Table service was perfect. We were seated upstairs but as my elderly parents are hard of hearing the background noise of a large group booking was too loud for us to have a conversation. I asked if we could move downstairs where it was quieter and it was no problem at all. Very considerate and understanding. We have been to Silica for lunch numerous times and have always had an excellent experience.

   Absolutely amazing food, outlook and service. Best meal I have had in a long time. Oysters were amazing, kingfish crudo was spectacular and the barramundi was divine. My new favourite restaurant.

   I booked, not knowing there was a second level, which we were scheduled to sit, hubby was on crutches so requested downstairs with a lesser view but very nice still. The wait staff were lovely especially the young lady I’m assuming the maitre’d. Food was very good, did take abit of time to receive but we were at peak. Would definitely go back.

   Set menu, would have preferred al a carte. Entrees were excellent. Would have been extremely happy having a menu of entrees as beautifully executed with a lot of finesse .

   Wonderful food! Great service. Top notch! We had steak and barramundi and both were cooked perfectly! Try the roasted pumpkin. Delicious!

    We had an outstanding night at Silica. The food and drinks were amazing. We particularly valued the service from the staff and the music was played subtly in the background, which meant it was easy to talk to each other all night. A fabulous night!
