   Lovely spot. Food was great, just make sure to read the details as some items had some intense flavours. It was however very expensive (a side of carrots is over $20 tax and tip, and you have to order a side to go with your main if you want one). The upstairs is very chill... downstairs ambience doesn't really reflect the premium cost. Still, great spot to try.

   Service was fabulous and chef even came to our table to confirm what we wanted. We both ordered chicken but he said that would be an entire chicken and suggested we get chicken and the prawns for another option. We had ordered the dine around for both of us.

   We went in just for drinks and the new girly pink drink is n the menu was amazing! We did not eat this time but we have and have loved it !

   This place is always amazing. Great ambiance, wonderful staff, and delicious food. It's the restaurant equivalent of quiet luxury.

   Sold! Different kind of restaurant. Small menu and everything is served for two. We got the strip loin medium rare in an amazing marinade. Cooked in the hearth fire. Added the grilled carrots - amazing doesn’t quite do it! Bread basket baked in the hearth that day. A glass of wine I never had before that I plan to buy at the store. Service second to none. Ambiance amazing. New restaurant opened a year ago. We are definitely going back. I plan to host my Holiday Magic quintet in the upstairs area. High end for sure. $88 including a $3 tax on the wine. Met the owner. And great chats with other employees. A real gem here in Dartmouth.

   Food was superior, with the exception of the desert which lacked luster and was the only option (the chocolate cake was exceptionally disappointing). Had oysters, carrot dish mushroom dish, bone marrow and the prawns... all these plates were exceptional, I will be back. On arrival, sitting back to the upstairs picture window in the booth was cold, however heat was turned on halfway through our visit which helped(unprompted from our table). My partner had to wear her jacket the whole time sitting opposite me. Drinks were fantastic, especially with the additional buffalo Trace bone shot from the marrow bone!

   Sip is amazing! One of our fave places in Dartmouth and Halifax. The ambiance is great, very laid back but hip. The food is outstanding and served family style, so try lots of things!! I recommend the carrots - they are my favourite dish every time. They cook everything in a huge woodfire oven, that is open to the restaurant, which adds amazing aroma and experience to the evening. Plus, the service is next level.
