As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were impressed by the gorgeous decor and felt happy to have chosen Sky Room to celebrate a birthday. However, when the hostess, Jesse, walked us to our table, we were seated away from the main dining room, in the back of the main room where it resembled a cafeteria without character. Immediately our guests and I were not happy with our table, so when the hostess returned, I asked her if there was a table available in the main dining room. She seemed unsure at first but told us she will check. Shortly after, she returned and asked us to bring our menus with us and follow her back into the main dining room where we were seated in a beautiful corner booth. This simple accommodation changed our experience for the evening. We enjoyed every dish and drinks we ordered. From crab cakes, beet salad, mains to desserts, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Our waiter, Taylor, was also excellent. It was our first time dining at the Sky Room but it will not be our last. Our friends and I are excited to share our experience and look forward to brining our families and friends in the near future.

It has been at least 10 years since I’ve been to the Sky Room. In that time, the restaurant has been completely modernized. The views are still fabulous. Service was excellent and the menu eclectic. My wife and I shared everything except for our initial cocktails. We had the beet salad as well as the Caesar salad and both were excellent. The rolls and the special butter were so yummy. We also had the Hangar steak and scallops. Hanger steak is not my favorite cut of beef, but it was nice. I think my wife enjoyed it a bit more than I did. The scallops were divine. It was a fairly decadent night, spent celebrating my wife’s birthday. She thoroughly enjoyed it and so did I. Very expensive so be prepared. Highly recommended.

The room is magnificent, the service impeccable, and the food fantastic. I have no complaints about the costs as I knew what they were before reserving our table. I particularly loved the crab cakes. My steak was perfectly cooked, as was the pork loin. definitely 5 stars well earned.

My boyfriend and I were celebrating his birthday at the new Sky Room. We also had the opportunity to eat at Sky Room in 2017 before it closed. I enjoy my Iberian Pork and Pommes Puree. The pork loin was so tender. I tried duck parfait as an appetizer and it was delicious. It had honey in the middle which I didn’t care for. For desert, I had apples cinnamon n ice cream. Someone prepare it in front of us with flames and all which was cool to see. The overall experience was great in taste and value.

This is the first time we have been to the Sky Room in this iteration of the restaurant. Despite missing our favorite waiter who used to work at the old Sky Room (Marty), we were very happy with the ambience, service, and outstanding food. We will be back.

The restaurant and the entire hotel are beautiful. Amazing view. Food was outstanding. The pork chops are so flavorful and tender. The steelhead was cooked perfectly. You have to have the banana flambee. Great presentation and wonderful. There are no vegetarian options for kids. Corkage is a little steep at $50. Having to pay for parkerhouse rolls at such a upscale restaurant didn't seem right. Overall a great experience.

We chose the Sky Room to celebrate an anniversary because we hadn't dined there since before its massive renovation, we were aching to see the transformation, and it was always a special, romantic spot. The service is still attentive and not too intrusive, and the food is excellent. The atmosphere and decor have managed to retain a hint of the former art deco feel while still feeling new, and it still has that special celebratory sensation (the view remains breathtaking). That the restaurant is now atop a luxury hotel again rather than an assisted living facility probably improves the overall atmosphere (the storied Breakers was built in 1926 and served as one of the THE places to stay, at least for a while; it later became an assisted living center, until it was purchased by the Fairmont chain in the 2010s and returned to luxury hotel status). Finally, the food was well-prepared, served expeditiously, and delicious, and the waiter was quite helpful with navigating a food allergy. Our only, small critique is that the menu was a bit limited in choices, partly because nearly everything contained egg, the one item my husband is allergic to! But we will definitely be back! And we recommend saving some time to visit the rooftop club or the jazz bar!

Came here on an anniversary dinner it was such a classy fancy vibe, the valet service set the tone the entrance to the restaurant and then walking through the doors we got a great seat and David our waiter was excellent. Would definitely go back we had the beef wellington which was divine and the caesar salad and they gave us a complimentary dessert and we enjoyed a bottle of wine.

The newly remodeled Sky Room is certainly expensive, but well worth it if you want an elegant dinner for a special occasion. We had the beef Wellington. It was outstanding . My wife really enjoyed her martini. All in all a fabulous night.
