6 of us went for lunch before Christmas, 5 ordered a la carte 1 set menu. The portions were all small and tiny for the vegetarian main courses. Soup came without bread, main courses were more the size of a starter with the exception of the turkey roast. A standard bottle of white wine £38, nice surroundings but shrinkflation gone mad

Convenient location for a meal with friends after seeing a play in County Hall. We were given a table with an excellent view of the river at night. The set menu cost was very good and the food was fine and appropriate for the price. The wines were overpriced - presumably where the restaurant makes its margin. Service was good - there was a gap in the service at one point but the waiter apologised and explained that several pre-theatre tables needed to get away at around the same time. This was unprompted and seemed reasonable.

Anna met us at the reception desk and was very efficient, I had previous stated it was a special occasion, my wife's birthday and my eldest son was with us, he lives abroad, i had asked for a table by the window, Anna had this request already and we had a fantastic table. The food, wine, service and overall evening was perfect, I think we may have been the last to leave!

My husband is a wheelchair user. The staff made our visit easy for us. We were a table of four people and we all enjoyed our selection of food. The views are magical at this time of the year. I do not hesitate to recommend lunchtime dining at the Skylon Restaurant.

Food was average. No rib eye steak available, black pudding starter also unavailable. Fillet steak was quite tough. Presentation of food was very basic. Wouldn’t dine at Skylon again. Nice location, let down by the overall quality of the food.

Enjoyable food but, unfortunately, rather slow service after the main which meant that we missed having a dessert. Up until then it had all been going so well, as the food was better than I anticipated - scallop starter and chicken pie main both very good. Would have liked a pud though.

Food was OK, we had the set menu. Which lacked vegetables and the description is poor. Staff were attentive to start with but service reduced as the restaurant became busy. Lacked ambience and the entrance from the embankment is poor
