   Really wonderful birthday experience for the family. Excellent service and food portions are good. Just hard to hear conversation sometimes but otherwise a staple for celebrations.

   Smash Kitchen exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff made sure every detail was taken care of and checked in just the right amount to ensure I had everything I needed. The highlight of my meal was the plant-based burger—it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly seasoned, with a great texture and fresh toppings that brought it all together. It’s clear Smash Kitchen takes pride in catering to all kinds of diners, including those looking for vegan or vegetarian options. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for another plant burger and the excellent service!

   Food was delicious and service was friendly and prompt. Food pricing is a bit high for a casual restaurant with a limited menu, and as compared to similar establishments, but do appreciate the level of service.

   After only 50 minutes the waitress told us they have another reservation in 10 minutes and we needed to leave. I was planning on ordering more food. I had made a reservation and the dining time was 1.5hrs. I asked her what the limit was and she confirmed 90 min and shrugged saying they overbooked. Sad because I actually liked the food but her rushed service ruined the experience.

   Fish tacos and seafood linguine both excellent. Parking bit of a challenge as very busy in lead-up to Xmas.

   We came in to enjoy our meal, ordered a bunch of food, food was fantastic, we had just finished eating and we were handed the bill, we tipped 20% on $280 and within a few minutes were told that we needed to leave in 10 minutes because the next table had arrived and we had to give up the table.. obviously it wasn't cause we gave a bad tip nor were we obnoxious or ill mannered. And for someone who brings people to your establishment so often, this is not the kind of service I've come to expect from you. We had been in for about an hour and a half and being asked to leave after we had just finished our meal was extremely disappointing.

   Hi Karima, Thank you for your review and feedback. I do apologize that you felt rushed and we can certainly review dining times in the new year. As it stands currently, we do allocated 1.45min of dining for all reservations and this is noted on your reservation when you book.    Smash Kitchen and Bar is a lovely place for a meal. Everything is first class. My friend enjoyed the Mac and Cheese while I loved the BBQ RIBS. Dessert was a shared plate of small donuts with caramel sauce. To die for. Great meals.

    upon our arrival, the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Once we were seated, our server was courteous, unfriendly as well. Our meal didn’t take long to arrive and it was delicious fresh and unbelievable. I never had the French toast there I always heard and saw how wonderful it looked and I didn’t realize they had a mini version so I had that and OMG was delicious I’ve been there before and will continue to go. This is my birthday brunch spot every year. Highly recommend smash kitchen and bar Markham

    It was a busy night but we could have had better service. I had to ask for someone to take our order since our waiter took for ever to come greet us (we had kids with us whom were hungry). Staff would not come around enough to check in if we needed anything, it was hard to get yhe attention of any staff, not a good experience, would not go back. The food was just okay, there are many more restaurants that have better service, better quality food and better pricing.
