Society is an energetic and fun restaurant and bar located in Tempe on the corner of University and Rural next-door to the Tempe Improv. Society offers inventive Italian and Mediterranean cuisine created by Chef Armando Aguirre. We offer our full dinner menu daily from 4pm to 1:30am with Happy Hour Sunday-Thursday 4pm to 6pm and Reverse Happy Hour Wednesday night from 10PM-12AM. Society is a stunning oasis in the desert with a large 28 seat illuminated rose quartzite bar top with an extensive wine list and creative house cocktails. We have plush booths, couches and a separate dining room area. When visiting Society we want you to escape with us and enjoy our hospitality!

    This is not our first Rodeo going to Society. Absolutely love this place, and it just continues to get better and better each visit! Today I ordered the Mushroom pasta with blackened chicken after being stuck on Beef Vodka Pasta and Chicken Alfredo the last 3 visits. We always start out with the Feta whip appetizer, with bread and pita wedges. The Spicy Sandia drink is the best drink we've tasted East Coast to West Coast, hands down. The Guava drink is the next best 👌. We decided to take our son who loves Shirley Temples, and got a super tall one today with Chicken Alfredo. It was his first experience and he concurs it's the best. Brittney our waitress was attentive, personable and great! The ambiance is stellar, temp crisp but not too cold, and decor on point. Our favorite restaurant in AZ. We have brought out of town guests, celebrated our Anniversary, and now Valentines with Society, thank you for an awesome experience.

    Booked the Valentines Experience - it was our first time experiencing Society. We had an amazing time- the food wonderful, highly recommend the salmon- exceptional! Valentine diners were in a separate alcove that was lovely. I did feel somewhat rushed towards the end and the check (the experience was pre-paid except for beverages) was delivered without it being requested. Totally understand wanting to stay on track with reservations however we were there for barely over an hour. That diminished the glow for us somewhat.

    You are paying for the ambience more than anything. The food was OK, but wasn’t as good for the price. Our waiter was great, but I don’t even know his name since he never told us. The drinks were ok also. Make sure you look over the menu & price before you go. The lobster & pasta was good but of course there wasn’t really any lobster in it. The creamy chicken with spaghetti was ok but was missing something. Or had too much spaghetti sauce. I’ve always said You should try everything once. So give it a try with an open mind.

    Exceptional in every way. Our server, Joseph A was phenomenal - courteous, knowledgeable (we had allergy concern), suggested great options and described each dish perfectly.

    The service was nice and prompt. The food was okay for the price point. Not bad but nothing exceptional. Noisy and difficult to have a conversation at our table. This was my second visit.

    Incredible food and atmosphere. Owner came by to ask how everything was and told us the story of how his restaurant came to be. Great place. Will definitely be back.

    Food is over the top. Service special. Special attention by owner who called after to report credit card left behind. Only one to ever do this👍🏻

    Food was uninspired and overpriced. Nothing stood out and the menu made little sense. Dishes were not cohesive and made no sense being on the menu together. Item descriptions were poorly worded and food tasted like a frozen cook at home entree. Service was one stand out. Staff was attentive and polite.
