   Food was very good. However, the service was not up to the usual Ritz Carlton standards as we have experienced in the past.

   The food was good especially the small bites but the service was awful. No one came over to us for almost 15 mins we had to ask for our waiter and a drink menu. When he finally came over he took our appetizer order the food came in a timely manner but the waiter never came back to take our dinner order we had to ask for him again and then after that never checked on us until we finished so we just asked for the check. Food is good/average service is awful.

   Walking into Sofra felt like entering another world—warm, inviting, and filled with the aroma of fresh spices. The cozy ambience set the stage for a unique dining experience where every dish came with a story. Each plate was crafted from authentic, homemade recipes, with flavors that felt rich and deeply traditional. From warm, hand-stretched pita to slow-braised meats and vibrant mezzes, every bite was a taste of history. A highlight was a fragrant clay pot, cracked open at the table to reveal a dish simmered to perfection. Starting the meal with a rose-scented beverage and ending with deconstructed baklava, it was clear that Sofra wasn’t just about food—it was a journey, a story, and an unforgettable experience.

   We’ve been to Sofra numerous times, last night we brought a large party who we told how great this place was. No one was at the front to seat us, waited about 10 minutes and was tgen seated. Waited about 15 more minutes before anyone ever came over. Waiter was very apologetic about the wait, took our drink order , another 15-20 minutes passed. Again apologized, not his fault, we had a party of 10 and just him, he was also tending to other large parties. Finally came back to take app order, that was fine, but had to ask for more water, drinks, extra plates and had to wait. I get it’s busy and am not blaming our waiter what so ever, but Ritz-Carlton, you’re a five star hotel and last night did not hit the mark. Sort of embarrassing to our company. Thankfully the food was spectacular. Maybe just have someone to help the waitstaff with cleaning dishes and getting new setups and retreiving drinks.Again-our waiter was great under the circumstances , he just needed a little assistance. I don’t usually write a review, but I couldn’t let this one go, I felt bad and had to keep appoligizing to our guests for the slow service. Our bill was well over $1000, and I feel the service fell short. Hopefully our next visit will be better.

    Nothing was exceptionally tasty, except the lamb chops. Artichokes were not fresh, seemed canned with little seasoning, the eggplant in the eggplant salad seemed boiled! The sea bass itself was okay but the tomato broth lacked Mediterranean seasoning. It was very loud so very difficult to hear. We will not go back.
