   Weirdly disjointed service. Arrived 45 minutes earlier than my reservation. Was told to come back at reservation time. That’s fine. We went for a walk. We were 10 minutes into our walk when we received a text that our table was ready. As per instructions, I responded with a 1 to indicate I was “on my way.” We hustled back to SOL. When we arrived back to reception we were told they almost gave up our table. Chips and salsa arrived almost immediately, but it took 15 minutes to get our first drinks. We ordered quac when we ordered drinks. Quac showed up maybe 5 minutes before our marginal at best meal was dropped at our table. Will not return.

   Service and food both good but the music is way too loud both inside and out. Drinks were excellent , I had the jalapeno cucumber spicy margarita and it was excellent. We had a party of 6 and sat inside but it was very difficult conversing with those in the party due to the volume of the music. Also, the parking garage is full forcing you to use valet. Unfortunately due to the music we will not be back. We were out for a family outing which included ages of those who were in the low 20’s who also thought it was too loud.

   Our server Janna was great, but we've been going to this restaurant for years & have always enjoyed the ambiance of it along with the food. There's usually live music such as a singer &/or guitarist. They have now done away with that & we were told that there would now be loud recorded music playing on weekends. The last thing I want when trying to enjoy a meal with other people is loud music. The main reason that I gave the 1 star for ambiance is because they have now decided to keep the lights so dim that we couldn't even read the menu without using our phone light. It wasn't ambiance, it wasn't romantic, it was just dark & we weren't the only people complaining. Event he wait staff were having trouble seeing. The food was great as always, although we had to send our corn back because it wan't hot when we received it. As I said, we've been going here for years & hope to continue, but they need to put the lights back up so people can see the menu & what they're eating. If they do start having loud music on weekends, we will only be going to this restaurant on week nights. As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

   Love this place every time I go. The quality is consistent, the staff are attentive could not ask for anything more

   Food was very good, lots of flavors, all delicious. Had the street corn, Governor? Fish taco and chicken taco trio, dessert was the salted Carmel chocolate. Drinks were OK… had 2 Cadillac margaritas (larger size) just seemed like a lot more ice in a tall thinner glass vs. a short stout one. I had a cucumber skinny spicy. Was a little sweet syrup-y tasting to me . They did remake it without all the agave. Was better but still not super refreshing, fresh taste. Staff was nice. I would go back for food.

   This is the third time I’ve been to Sol. The food is Always amazing. Service on this occasion was sub-par. The hostess was slow and a bit rude. The music level was extremely loud, to the point i couldn’t hear my friends speaking. I asked they reduce volume, but they didn’t do so. I’ll go back but makes no since to sit inside where you can’t hear your friends speaking over the blaring music. Suggest sitting outside always.

   Food was good as always. The hot and raw ceviche was a bit light on the fish for $21. Service was good, but the music was repetitive club music with bongos that no one could talk over. I heard people complained about it in the bathroom so weren’t alone in feeling the music was too loud and not the right ambiance. They also turned the lights down super low making it difficult to see. Suggest changing the music to Spanish guitar at a decibel that’s enjoyable and turning the lights up slightly.
