    It was very busy, but the service was terrible and the food ice cold. We were sitting waiting for water 20 minutes and appetizers took an hour. Food order was wrong and not taken off the bill. Chips tasted stale. Place has really gone downhill.

    The portions were ridiculously small and overall this birthday dinner was a huge let-down. It took them 20 minutes after our reserved time to seat us (made the res many weeks in advance). The wait staff was impersonal and it took them a half hour after we ordered to get us our drinks-after bringing out chips and such. Weird order. The drinks were watered down, the guacamole was flavorless, and tacos were mediocre/they lit your mouth on fire. Slow service, medium quality food, wait time at the beginning, $15 taco (singular) that was the size of my palm- very unlikely I’d ever go back to Sol. Disappointing.

    What a wonderful place. We had a great meal. The short rib tacos are the bomb. Corn is a little pricy but very good. Overall a great dining experience.

    Food was good but the noise was a little loud. Also feel we were placed at a wide table where me and my wife were are kind of far from each other so hard to talk and hear each other.

    We were in a table the back corner of the restaurant it felt like the table was not really part of the restaurant but more like on that was on the walking path of the mall traffic. We had a good server but the only thing we did not was he would be like a helicopter and be right outside of eye reach but would make people uncomfortable.

    My husband and I believe this is the best Mexican restaurant in Scottsdale. It is certainly one of the only places we know to find a great frozen margarita in the Phoenix area. The tacos are unique and fun. The way they serve "chips" and salsa is also very unique. The outdoor area is wonderful for most times of year. The servers work as a team and we always feel very well taken care of. We give it five stars because we have been here many times and still love the place
