We always love visiting Sole Bay - the food is great and you can even buy fish to eat at home when you leave.

Lovely to have this restaurant back after a terrible fire . It is just charming in every way with lovely people running it , the freshest of fish and a fabulous atmosphere . You have to go here if you are in East Suffolk

Great the sole bay is open again We were greeted by a very smiling member of staff Shown to our table and told the specials. Ordered drink and food both came quickly and dilivered by happy staff. The place looks even more inviting after all the work that has been done very relaxed atmosphere.

Food as good as ever, good selection fresh & delicious Lobster was excellent New layout of restaurant feels spacious and airy but still atmospheric Did not try dessert but good there is a choice Service was as friendly and efficient as we remembered it Will definitely be returning soon

So pleased you are back after the fire. We travelled over 100 miles to enjoy the best fish & chips & you didn’t disappoint. It was also lovely to meet Daren & listen to him talking about the history of Sole Bay. Wishing you every success in your new restaurant x

Returned to the newly reopened restaurant after two years. What an improvement in the place. Food as good as ever. Staff friendly and attentative. Good to be back!!
