   The service and food were fine. However, if you are not a guest of the hotel, they take your credit card right away and hold it until you finish eating and pay the bill. Disappointing.

   When we arrived the security officer stopped us and said the restaurant was not open until noon. I explained we had reservations at 11:30 am and why were them taking reservations for a time they were closed. They answered that it was a system and communication issue. Later on when I talked to management about the situation and possible consequences to clients, the manager took me to the restaurant himself yet security stopped management and I, creating an antagonist scene that took away from our experience. About food, the Brunch Chilaquiles were a complete tragedy. The pork was tasteless and cold. The chilaquiles had no sauce. Ambience was phenomenal, after asked to be moved to one of the tables facing the beach. That and the server were the two positive experiences. Overall the culture of service is broken at this place. We won’t be back anytime soon and we recommend you to find an alternative.

   On the price fixe wine dinner, while the 2 apps were fine, the salmon and chicken mains were severely overcooked. Chicken was inedible. Mediocre wine selection. Manager comped part of the meal.

   Felix was the best at everything. He make the best espresso martini and also recommended the greatest dish in Puerto Rico which was the app wagyu. Felix just made the experience sooo good. Highly recommend solera!

   By chance since we were going to be in Puerto Rico on a Wednesday that we would try the wine paring Wednesday. It was quite reasonable but we had no idea what the dinner choices were nor what the wine would be. The server was VERY good and the food turned out to be one of our favorite of our trip. It is a 3 course meal with a couple choices for each course. The food was amazing and the wine was good. I would definitely choose this place if you are near or staying in Condado

   Very disappointing with overcooked chicken & food overpriced for what was served. The service was poor. Drinks were watered down. The only good part of meal was Gouda Mac & Cheese. And beware of the 20% service charge in bill which was not revealed ahead of bill & is “tucked” into taxes on bill.
