The Valentine's Day set menu was quite interesting. The beef short ribs in curry was quite tasty and the red snappy in sweet and sour sauce was ok. However, the temperature of most of the dishes were not really that hot. For example, the "crispy" cone of the chicken satay was cold and soggy. The soup was lukewarm.
We were also disappointed in the service. We were not attended to for the first 10 to 15 minutes. The server seems to be quite busy and did not spend much time at our table. We ordered tea and it came with a teabag in a cup. We inquired about getting a teapot and was told that they don't have teapots. Later, the tea cup was refilled with cold/lukewarm water.... Given the fact a gratuity of 20% was charged at time of booking, the service can be improved.
It is an interesting restaurant. Maybe we will go back when they are less busy and can improve on the service then?
