   The food was excellent and the ambiance. when I choked on a fish bone the staff really kicked in, compliments to Dean Kim and Aga who stayed with me till I recovered. They kindly gave us complimentary desserts. Just note no pizzas / wings during the early part of the week. Just on Thursdays Fridays sat and sun. We will be back.

   Very limited options for kids. 3 adult mains were to be accompanied with new potatoes but we 1 got 1 very small bowl between 3. Asked for gravy with the beef featherblade instead of pepper sauce but was told no gravy despite the gravy on the kids menu. Garlic bread didnt smell and certainly didnt taste of garlic. Zero taste from the hummous. Very poor dessert option and very small portions - no chocolate ice cream again despite ithe menu advertising an assortment of ice cream. I had asked for a halal option but again no option provided. Asked for pizza - no pizzas today! So disappointed and went home hungry.

   Waited too long initially to make a drinks order, despite having asked a waiter who instead of seeking someone that could do it seemed to ignore us. Latte's didn't come out with the dessert which wasn't ideal give I wished to have both together.

   We went on a Monday night to get some pizza and when we arrived we were told they were doing pizzas that night even though this was never said online that pizzas weren’t done on certain days. 25 euro for a pesto pasta I thought was extremely expensive especially when it does not come with something like chicken etc to make it a substantial meal.

   Lovely venue. All staff very friendly from entering the bar up to the restaurant. Food was excellent and service was excellent too. Best crême brûlée I’ve had outside of France.

   From the happy positive greeting upon arrival, to being seated, the upbeat vibe continued through out our evening. The lovely young lady waiting on our table [I am so sorry, I do not recall her name] but she is studying in MTU! was as invested in us having a great time as I was. We have been to Sophie's a few times and and have never been disappointed. The cocktail menu was ace, the food selection was first class and hit the spot. One cannot go wrong by booking a nice table for dinner at Sophie's. Brian.

   Definitely a little too expensive for the average person service was very poor at times but other times some servers provided great service. Tables for 2 nights we got poor seats in random locations that felt out of place and in the way food was good but not worth the value have to pay for water but not worth it as if says filtered but doesn’t taste like it but overall would recommend but wouldn’t be in a hurry back
