   Great vibe- hopping busy but noise level was really good- they must gave sound damping tiles. Beautiful decor. Great service. Pizza tasty . The crust was a bit limp in the middle of the pixza -I think a little thicker pizza crust then cook a little longer would make it better. The diavola pizza could've had more basil leaves on it. Those only maybe 2 1/2. Crust on the edge of the pizza was excellent.

   This is my third time at this restaurant. I’ve had one good and one poor experience before tonight’s reservation, so thought I would give it another try. It was honestly pretty disappointing. The good…the pizza. The bad…the table that they wanted to seat us at was by the door…the worst table in the place! I asked for a different table and you would’ve thought I had asked for the world in a nearly empty restaurant. The Caesar salad tasted like mayo with no garlic, lemon, salt etc. Gross. The pasta wasn’t cooked and I wish I sent it back. It wasn’t el dente…it wasn’t cooked properly. To top it off when we told our server when we were paying our billed she gave an inauthentic “oh I’m sorry about that.” Needless to say, I wont be coming back which is a shame at this is in my neighbourhood and I’d love to support our local restaurants.

   Another excellent experience at this tasty spot on Commercial Drive. While it is not hard to find good pizza on “Little Italy” what sets Sopra Sotto apart is the amazing service level of the staff. The food is excellent- pizza is authentic Napoli and very good but don’t skip the delicious pastas, salads and creative cocktails. We even splurged on the flourless chocolate cake that was so decadent and so delicious and a generous serving that had 4 adults happily end their meal. Great food, amazing service and value- rare for Vancouver!!

   As a Celiac is rare to have a great meal without getting sick at Italian restaurant. My experience was positive

   Was honestly thinking about walking out due to the lack of decent customer service from everyone who walked past our table for the first 15 minutes without offering water or to take drink orders. But our server ended up being incredible and turned the evening around.

   The food was really great and some of the best Italian I’ve had in awhile. The star of the show for me was the Burrata appetizer and pistachio gelato for dessert. Service was quick and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and quiet spot for some great Italian.

    Amazing pizzas! Possibly some of the best pizza that I've had outside of Italy. As a first-timer, I don't know how I missed this place before, but I will be back!
