    A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes to menu style to suit local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food, and a reasonably extensive and not over-priced wine list. My veal was perfectly cooked (pink), as was my wife's fish. The portion sizes are reasonable, so don't be afraid to order a couple of side dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too rapid for my taste, I'd have preferred a slightly longer wait to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but that's very much personal preference. We will certainly return.

    Deceptively large Italian restaurant just outside the main shopping area. Good value set menu, suitable for pre or post theatre dining

    As ever, amazing food and people. I dine alone - but always end up chatting with other people around me as it is such a relaxed, friendly establishment. The cod ina tomato and caper sauce was succulent and scrumptious.

    We enjoyed a very nice evening at Sorrento in Stratford. The service was good, wine selection very good and while the food was of excellent quality, the presentation, creativity and preparation weren't quite up to expectations. The pasta was overcooked and the Caprese salad was simple circular slices of tomato and mozzarella, which while tasty could have been better with a little love (and some nicer pesto). But, we'll be back again as the squid ink linguine with crab and scallops was really wonderful.

    Hidden gem of a restaurant. Warm greeting Excellent dining room perfectly laid out pristine linen. Impressive Italian wine list. Excellent choice of food. Seafood was amazing. Service was of the very highest standard. Can’t wait to revisit even though we live 140 miles away.
