   This is a lovely restaurant with unusual and fabulous sushi! They create wonderful combinations. My favorite is the soft shelled crab tempura with a delicate fried egg on top. It's absolutely delicious - as was everything else we tried!

   Soto for lunch is an absolute treat and chef Andy absolutely delivered an amazing experience (as always!). My only concern is now wanting to be back multiple times a week for lunch.

   This is a top spot to go in Houston for fresh sushi. I loved the attention to detail and the service is second to none. The chef interacts with guests at the sushi bar, while you also are waited on by expert servers who know the menu well. I can't wait to go back!

   Had a reservation and waited 50 minutes to get seated. It was my girlfriend’s birthday as well. Very disappointing experience overall service and food included.

   I went on Valentine’s Day and was disappointed in most of the waitstaff I interacted with. We started at the bar cause we arrived a little early before our reservation. Despite being at the bar and being within 5 feet of the bartenders, it took awhile to finally have someone pop up behind me to take our order. I ordered two drinks, but they could only serve one at first due to needing to find the ice block for the other. While waiting for the second drink at the waiter was pressuring us to start the ten course meal while at the bar “cause there are a lot of people coming in” but I said no. Then waiter then brought the second drink and I had to be firm that we wanted to start our meal at the table at our reservation time when he pushed again. Once the hostess came to get us we stood up to take our drinks to the table and the bartender/waiter who had pressured us to start our meal at the bar yelled that I needed to pay the bill. I assumed it would be transferred to the table, but I told her to go to the table and I would just pay there. I then stood at the bar for several minutes before the waiter realized he had never actually had given me my bill. He ran my bill and I was able to pay. The experience at the table was much better. The food was amazing. Some of the waiters that dropped off the entrees spoke fast it was hard to catch it all. A couple got seated next to us and the first thing the waitress said to them was “yall have a 90 minute time limit” even though there were open tables and no line at that time. If I’m spending $150 a person, I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m burden to have in the restaurant and need to be leave as soon as possible.

   Soto's Valentine's Day omakase was absolutely incredible and very reasonably priced for what was provided. Michelle was the best server I've ever had, get her a raise!

    We enjoyed a very good dinner at Soto. My waygu gyoza was one of the best I have had and it was accompanied with a sauce that added a lot of umami. My roll, I cannot remember the name of it, was also very good, but in retrospect would have benefitted from some soy sauce to accompany it. My wife's lamb chops were a bit dry and over cooked. Next time she will order the sous vide pork which looked delicious. We will return for another meal soon.
