The food tasted amazing. However, you have to have patience when you go. It took about 30 minutes for Fried Green tomatoes, an additional 15 for the Crabcakes when they were ordered at the same time. Wait staff rarely checked on us and to ask a hostess or bussers for ketchup or anything else, let's hope they remember. Roll ups came out slightly damped and not completely dry. If you use cloth napkins this needs to be guaranteed. Food presentation could be way better. The food did taste well but the experience unfortunately was disappointing. Not to mention 20% is automatically included so 20% service should be given.

The food was exceptional, but the service completely soured the experience. This restaurant came highly recommended by friends as a special treat for my birthday. We made a reservation for four on a Friday night and arrived early to ensure we wouldn’t lose our table. I understand that even with a reservation, there can be delays, especially on a busy weekend night. However, I also expect basic hospitality—updates on wait time, a simple acknowledgment of the delay, or even an offer of a beverage if the wait stretches too long. None of that happened. Instead, when I politely inquired about our table, the host responded with an attitude so dismissive that I felt compelled to address it. The owner apologized on her behalf, and they offered us a complimentary appetizer as a goodwill gesture. It was thoughtful but, ultimately, not enough to salvage the experience. From there, things only got worse. Our table was told they had run out of cloth napkins (a napkin is a napkin)—odd, considering other guests seated after us received them. They also ran out of drinking glasses, which delayed our cocktails for 20 minutes. Our side dishes arrived a full 10 minutes before the entrées, and worst of all, one guest’s meal didn’t arrive until after the rest of us had finished eating. What should have been a celebratory evening turned into a frustrating three-hour ordeal. A $400 bill (including alcohol), a comped appetizer we didn’t need, a mistimed meal that couldn’t even be enjoyed, and a meager 12% discount didn’t come close to making up for the poor service. If you want to experience the food, I’d recommend takeout—because the dining experience simply isn’t worth it.

I came for the CBRW menu (crab cake, hot honey chicken, smothered pork chop, banana pudding, & sweet potato pie à la mode) which was truly AWESOME! The staff was also friendly and courteous. Unfortunately: 1) the dining space is tiny and felt severly cramped at full capacity; 2) having only one waitresss working the entire dining space was highly inefficient; and 3) they were out of the appetizer I ordered (short rib tacos), but failed to notify me until my entree arrived and didn't offer any reasonable compensation (an off menu appetizer, a complimentary beverage, a price reduction, etc.). Next time I patronize, it will definitely be off peak (like Happy Hour) and I'll just sit at the front bar...

The food was AMAZING!!! We waited a bit of time to receive our food but it was worth it. The waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed. He forgot a few things along the way but all in all, it was a great experience.

Everything was great. This is my first time and everything was delicious. I did the restaurant week menu, which included crab cakes, smothered pork chops and banana pudding. I also added greens. I would definitely recommend.

The food was AMAZING! We had the collard green dip which was so good.. I ordered the catfish with mac and sweet potatoes… fish was seasoned perfectly… the sides were great. My sister ordered the hot honey fried chicken which was very good! We can’t wait to come back.
