   Made a reservation here to celebrate a birthday. We ordered drinks the moment we sat down, waited about 15 minutes to get them. The food was admittedly fantastic, but our server took at least 20 minutes to come by and ask if everything was good after we started eating. It also took over 10 minutes to get a refill on waters once ours were empty. To cap it all off, the charge to make my $17 drink a double was $15 and they had a forced 20% service charge but still prompted an additional 20% minimum tip on the payment portal, I had to manually input a number to go lower than that.

   This was my 1st time going there and the experience was nothing but amazing!! My boyfriend and I did Bruch and the food was absolutely amazing!!!! The owner and employees made everyone feeling like family. I love when establishments gives off that type of vibe. I will definitely be back so I can experience their dinner menu which I know won’t disappoint!! ❤️❤️❤️

   The ambience was a pretty chill vibe with gospel and r&b playing in the background. The music wasn't loud enough to interrupt conversations, but loud enough to sing along with. The drink was great (alcoholic and flavored lemonade). The food was amazing and plentiful.

   I think Soul Prime has the potential to be a fantastic restaurant! They just need to improve in some areas. Customer service wasn’t rude but wasn’t nice either or attentive. They were also out of 2 of there popular dishes which was an inconvenience. But the most outrageous part was me and my date ordered an entree we ordered one appetizer and 2 sides and also 2 drinks. We ordered a good amount but definitely not over $200 worth. This restaurant is charging up-scale steakhouse prices for mediocre service and food and it’s a shame because I really looked forward to trying this place. It hasn’t been determined if I will be returning or not but if I do it will be for the bone in short ribs which I gave a 9/10!

   Saturday was our first time at Soul Prime. The food was so good, we ordered additional items to go for our Sunday dinner. From the peach lemon refresher to each menu item, we were very pleased. Fried green tomatoes, collard green dip, lobster, bisque, short ribs tacos, red beans and rice. Everything was delicious! Our server, Karen, was super friendly and attentive, as well as the hotels who seated us. We will definitely be back.

   Soul Prime Restaurant was absolutely magnificent. We had a party of six. Everyone tried something different so we could all try the different entrees on the menu the food was delicious. We had two appetizers also the Fried Green Tomatoes and The Collard Greens Dip was divine. For dessert we shared a Banana pudding so good. The food was so delicious it was like a great grandma was in the kitchen getting Sunday dinner ready for her family. The decor of the restaurant beautiful and very clean. The staff very friendly and very knowledgeable of the items on the menu. Soul Prime Restaurant is a must try and don’t sleep on this gem. I most definitely recommend this restaurant and I will return.

    I'm very impressed with the meatless sides that's a testament to excellent cooking. The food was hot, flavorful and decent portion. The alcoholic beverages were quite expensive and not worth the price but the overall experience was great.
