I have to say that I expected more. It took us 20 min to get our drinks and bread to the table. We have crab cake and Fritters for the table. Both very under medium. Oveercooked fritters and crab cake was fishy. The servixe got better after the start. Briaket on rhe eggs Benedict had no taste and eggs where over done. No gravy with the biscuit sandwich made it dry. Steak and egg was okay but less than 3 oz of steak for 30$ dish. Chicken and waffle had the best testx Overall disappointing, wont need to come here again. 50$ per person for brunch only.

Restuarant is very nice with excellent staff and environment. However the menu and fod concept was confusing; southern cusine with africian or west indies sauces created weird taste and it was pricy!

I love South City Kitchen. I prefer this location in Buckhead. It's more spacious than the other locations, in my opinion. The food is always so good.! The Gouda Fritters OMG those just melt in your mouth, and we had fried green tomatoes. Then my entree was The King Biscuit, my niece had the Shrimp and Crab Roll, and the hubby had the Fried Chicken! I'm never disappointed when I go there. There was only one thing that happened, and that was my food came out warm and almost cold, so they took it back and brought me a new one! Other than that, it was all good!!!

Our server was on point. She has worked for the company since 2017. She enjoys her job, and you can tell. The food was amazing. I went to the restroom and I walked past the open kitchen, and the cooks spoke to me. I told him that they look like they were enjoying doing their thing, and they said yes. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. The food, the ambience, and everything is a 10+. We’ve been there before for an anniversary back in the mid 2000’s and we took some friends there tonight. We will definitely be back again.
