This was one of the BEST meals I’ve had in my entire life. My table started with the mezze plate and the local burrata which were absolutely delicious, and for my main I got the eggplant parm with zucchini noodles. By far, the best eggplant parm i’ve ever had. The wait staff was very kind and attentive, I will absolutely be a returning customer.

Sunday brunch was pretty busy and took long to get seated for a reservation and then have the server check in. But once that was sorted all was fine. Brunch was very good and reasonably priced. Definitely would go again for brunch.

Good service. I had a Tiramisu martini which was delicious, and Caesar salad with breaded chicken breast (Milanese) - all good. Cute neighborhood. Beautiful night to sit on the patio. Close to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross - 5 min walk if you are interested in going there.

Hi Jordan, we appreciate all feedback from our customers, so thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We are left wondering, however, what you mean by your comment that you did not experience what we look like in our photos. Perhaps you went to our takeout location on Clarendon Street and not our main location on Shawmut Avenue where brunch and dinner with table service is served? The Shawmut location is where most (if not all) of the photos on OpenTable are from.

The service was excellent, our mother's day brunch was delicious yogurt and grain bowl was great,as was the eggs and smoked salmon.

South End Buttery has a great reputation as a nice brunch spot and it was exactly that. service was good, though quite slow, but it was very busy. Food was really nice - the pancakes were excellent!

Great overall experience. Cozy garden level dining area with fireplace was just the spot for our pre theater dinner. Meal was delicious with a great menu to choose from. Excellent t friendly service and never felt rushed. Perfect evening! Thank you
