    The food was excellent. However, the service was terrible and the ambience of the restaurant was extremely lacking. For the price you are paying, you would expect better atmosphere and service.

    Celebrated our anniversary night at the Marriott hotel, dined in at Southern Oak. The service was fantastic. The food was good. It was a quaint and sophisticated dining experience.

    Overall, was an average resort restaurant. The smoked meat appetizer was excellent, the steak was sub-prime and overpriced. The server was very nice and attentive.

    The food was delicious! We had the blackened redfish over Connecha rice and cabbage. It was excellent!  We had the blackened redfish over Kaneka rice and cabbage. It was to die for. Our server was very attentive and helpful. We would definitely go back!

    Wasn’t an $89 brunch; more like a $50-60 but ok overall. Some of the food was cold though.

    Our waiter was very nice and the food was very good. A bit overpriced, but that is typical for a restaurant located in a hotel.
