   The NYE choices on the set menu were not as good as expected. The seafood bisque was way too salty, which our server acknowledged other guests had mentioned. It was replaced with the other option, a salad, which was nothing more than a spring mix you can buy at the grocery store. Our server was mediocre. She knew we were celebrating my wife’s birthday and wished her happy birthday but that was it. No champagne, no singing, nothing, never even spoke with a manager. The entire experience was nothing like we’d had in the past. After spending over $350 for two people, I will not go back.

   New Year’s Eve was our most recent visit to Southern Social and we weren’t disappointed. Food, Service and staff all excellent as usual.

   Thank you all for giving us a wonderful New Years experience. Everything was perfect - the food, ambiance, and server’s attention to detail. Our server was Marcus. Please give him our special thank you for a memorable evening. We have eaten casual meals with you before but will definitely be back for the fine dining experience!!

   I feel like I was scammed. Preset Menu (not listed when I booked the reservation). $309 for 2. Food we would not have chosen ourselves from the regular menu. A normal dinner for 2 off the full menu doesn’t cost this much. We should have left when we saw the limited menu and the $115 + tip + tax price tag. I been here many times. Just feel like we were taken advantage of this time.
