    Our meal was delicious. The egg dishes were beautiful and tasty. The lentil stew was outstanding. And the olive oil, avocado, and bread were so good. I never knew I liked Spanish food so much.

    We were 25 minutes late, but there was no problem even though the restaurant was full of people. The service was terrific, the food selections were fine, and the NYC prices didn’t seem too abnormal, especially at holiday time.

    Service, food quality, menu options were all great. This is just as we remembered from when we visited about 4-5 years ago. We’re here from Houston and have been craving a return ever since. Glad restaurant is consistent with food, service, and ambience. Thanks for making this a special reunion with friends.

    Spanish Diner is a lively restaurant with good food and drink. Lots of good choices on the menu and friendly & attentive service. Although the food and service are good and the place is welcoming, it's way too loud. There are a lot of surfaces inside the restaurant that make the sound uncomfortable for conversation and being with friends. There are good menu choices and (mostly) efficient service (there were a lot of people in the restaurant, perhaps for holiday parties, which presented the wait staff with particular challenges in their work). Turn down the volume, please!!
