An excellent way to spend an hour or so learning about the history of CIA and a brief class on food tasting. The cost funds students scholarships. Highly recommend

The tour was disappointing - it is basically a video you watch w a tray to taste. No real interaction with school, kitchens, or anything. No real tour.

I expected the tasting to be an in person affair. I work in college admissions and may be more tuned into these issues than most, but it was odd to essentially watch three videos (which were played very loudly) rather than have a guide. The tasting info itself was very interesting and the small tour we received was nice, but be advised you don’t see the full campus. “A taste” is more like it. Very sweet students and excited to go back! If you’re interested in the restaurants, be sure to book those in advance.

They sat us down to watch a video with a chef talking to us which felt more like an activity you would do at home during Covid then what is supposed to be an interactive experience at a world renowned institute. And the “tasting” seems like you’d be trying things made there but it’s grapes with different things on it. Not a terrible experience but not worth paying for in my opinion. Book the restaurants and walk around yourself.

Tour was great. Grounds are stunning. American Bounty restaurant is a lovely setting, not too loud, very attractive. Service was weak and food was so-so except but we understnd that these are chefs in trining. All in all, a great experience.

The star ratings are just because open table requires them. The interactive portion of the program was very well done. The walking tour on a Saturday was limited due to events on campus. I would have like to see more of the instruction spaces.

I enjoyed the tour and dining experience at the Apple Pie Bakery Cafe. The students that led the tour were very passionate and I can't wait to see them do big things!
